What You’ll Do
- Design and implement responsive user interfaces using modern JavaScript and React
- Lead frontend initiatives across multiple product teams
- Mentor engineers through code reviews and technical guidance
- Optimize web performance and accessibility standards
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to refine feature specs
- Advocate for frontend tooling improvements and documentation
- Evaluate and integrate new frontend libraries and frameworks
- Ensure consistent UI behavior across browsers and devices
- Drive adoption of testing practices including unit and integration tests
- Contribute to design system components and patterns
What We’re Looking For
- 8+ years of professional frontend development experience
- Strong command of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- Proven experience with React and state management libraries
- Familiarity with build tools like Webpack or Vite
- Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest or Cypress
- Understanding of browser rendering behavior and performance tuning
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design principles
- Ability to lead technical direction without formal authority
- Clear communication skills across technical and non-technical roles
- Track record of delivering production-grade web applications
Bonus Points
- Experience with TypeScript
- Contributions to open-source frontend projects
- Background in full-stack development
- Familiarity with GraphQL
- Experience mentoring junior or mid-level engineers
- Involvement in design system governance
