Included Health is looking for a Staff Engineer – Visit Experience to lead the technical design and implementation of systems that directly shape how patients receive care. You will be a key contributor in an environment dedicated to improving healthcare access and quality for our members.
What You'll Do
- Design, build, and own high-impact technical systems for patient visit experiences
- Architect solutions that are scalable, reliable, and secure
- Collaborate closely with product, design, and other engineering teams
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to elevate team practices
- Drive engineering excellence through code reviews, technical design, and documentation
What We're Looking For
- Proven track record as a Staff-level or senior principal engineer leading complex projects
- Deep expertise in designing and operating distributed, customer-facing systems
- Ability to navigate ambiguity, make high-stakes technical decisions, and communicate trade-offs
- Strong cross-functional partnership skills to align technical and product visions
- Commitment to mentoring engineers and improving team processes
