Sarvam AI is hiring a Staff Engineer, Product Infrastructure

Responsibilities

  • Own the full lifecycle of backend services for managing agents, campaigns, and users, using Python and FastAPI from data modeling to deployment
  • Implement and manage workflow orchestration with Temporal to handle complex, stateful, long-running operations
  • Ensure high performance and reliability across a multi-tenant SaaS environment meeting strict sub-second latency service level objectives
  • Build comprehensive observability systems including logging, metrics, and distributed tracing to enable rapid production issue resolution
  • Develop and maintain integration testing frameworks that support fast, safe releases without impacting customer-facing systems
  • Work closely with frontend engineers using Next.js to deliver a seamless and high-quality user experience
  • Promote a design-first and documentation-first culture by requiring RFCs prior to implementation and maintaining clear, accessible decision records
