Responsibilities
- Investigate process data and defect patterns to determine underlying causes of yield issues and execute corrective measures.
- Design and deploy scalable, reliable process methods for synthesizing battery materials, balancing performance requirements with high-volume production constraints.
- Oversee the smooth introduction of new products and manufacturing technologies into production, prioritizing safety, product quality, and mechanical performance.
- Apply advanced statistical analysis and Design of Experiments (DOE) to establish process operating ranges, define material specifications, and forecast performance, risks, and trade-offs at scale.
- Keep comprehensive records of process specifications, process flow diagrams, and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Analytics, and Quality to solve integration issues and align on performance goals, ensuring all material batches meet strict customer requirements.
- Lead the transition of processes from research and development or pilot-scale environments to full-scale manufacturing.
