Lead the evolution of a next-generation cybersecurity platform by designing and building resilient, containerized microservices that process high-volume network telemetry and cloud events in real time. You'll take full ownership of services from concept through deployment, ensuring they deliver actionable security insights across multi-tenant environments on public cloud infrastructures.
What You’ll Do
- Architect and implement robust services in Go, processing streaming data from AWS, Azure, and GCP to power real-time visibility and risk mitigation for customers.
- Drive technical decisions by presenting and defending system designs to peers, then deliver production-grade implementations using Kubernetes, REST APIs, and distributed data pipelines.
- Champion code quality and testability through developer-led testing, integration validation, and operational rigor to ensure system resilience.
- Mentor early-career engineers and interns, helping them grow through code reviews, pair programming, and technical guidance.
- Collaborate closely with Product Management to refine requirements, anticipate customer needs, and deliver features that exceed expectations.
- Engage directly with operational challenges, using firsthand experience to inform better, more maintainable software design.
- Develop deep expertise in cloud networking and security use cases by working with internal stakeholders and engineering teams.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- At least 8 years of experience building scalable, distributed systems
- Strong proficiency in Go and SQL, with hands-on work in Unix/Linux environments
- Familiarity with REST API development and TCP/IP networking fundamentals
- Proven ability to lead technical projects and guide engineering teammates
Nice-to-Have Experience
- Master’s degree in a technical field
- Direct programming experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP APIs
- Background in network security or cloud security controls
- Experience deploying containerized services in production
- Exposure to infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible
