Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end ownership of the continuous delivery pipeline, from artifact promotion to production rollout, ensuring reliable and efficient code deployment.
- Create and manage deployment architectures using progressive delivery methods such as blue/green, canary, and rolling releases with automated health checks and rollback capabilities.
- Develop and maintain advanced CI/CD systems with a focus on release orchestration, environment progression, deployment controls, and automated recovery mechanisms.
- Design and implement tooling for automated release coordination across distributed services and geographic regions, including scheduling and feature-flag management.
- Engineer scalable and secure cloud infrastructure on AWS, ensuring compliance and driving automation in deployment processes.
- Monitor deployment pipelines and infrastructure metrics, serving as a technical escalation point and managing incident response and rollback procedures.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams on deployment safety, release engineering, and delivery optimization.
