Responsibilities
- Become an expert and authority on our platform front-end codebase and our design system component library
- Lead development of new fully accessible components, build and update components to support new features, and document usage clearly for consumers
- Collaborate with designers to implement our design system
- Support other teams in the organization with guidance and direction on componentization, opportunities for reuse, and overall front-end best practices
- Participate in code reviews, setting a high standard for quality and mentoring others
- Contribute bug fixes submitted by the user community
Requirements
- Demonstrated expertise in building Angular web applications
- Demonstrated expertise in building reusable libraries with rock solid APIs from a unified design system perspective
- Demonstrated experience collaborating with designers and implementing design specs from Figma or similar tools
- Demonstrated experience with web content accessibility guidelines (WCAG) and implementing accessible experiences
- Experience with Tailwind CSS for component styling
- Experience writing developer-facing usage documentation
- Experience with Storybook or another component modeling toolset
- Collaborative and adaptable mindset
- Openness and authenticity combined with excellent communication skills
- Excitement and enthusiasm for open source and for better internet security
- Excellent problem-solving skills – you might not know all the answers, but you know how to find and communicate the solution
