Responsibilities
- Lead the creation of scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud architectures on AWS
- Establish standards for compute services including EC2, ECS, and EKS, along with storage solutions like S3, EBS, and EFS
- Design systems for high availability, disaster recovery, and uninterrupted business operations
- Collaborate with development teams to build cloud-native applications optimized for AWS environments
- Advance Infrastructure as Code adoption using tools such as Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation
- Automate infrastructure deployment, scaling, and configuration management processes
- Enhance system visibility and operational performance through centralized logging, monitoring, and alerting
- Lead efforts in performance optimization and capacity forecasting for critical systems
- Integrate AWS security standards including IAM, KMS, GuardDuty, and Security Hub
- Work closely with security teams to maintain compliance with SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, and GDPR
- Implement zero-trust security models and enforce least-privilege access policies
- Serve as a technical mentor and leader for cloud and DevOps team members
- Shape long-term cloud strategy, tool selection, and architectural direction
- Engage with cross-functional teams across product, security, and engineering
- Participate in technical design reviews, architecture governance, and roadmap planning
Compensation
$175,000 - $185,000

Hybrid — Mountain View, CA

The compensation range for this position is: $175,000 - $185,000. This range reflects the low and high end of the range the company reasonably and generally expects to pay for this role.
