Responsibilities
- Maintain and manage the general ledger and perform reconciliations
- Ensure compliance with regulations and handle multi-state filings
- Oversee accounts payable and manage vendor relationships
- Manage accounts receivable and client accounting processes
- Support the finance team and provide business assistance
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Minimum of three years of experience in an accounting or finance role
- Proven understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel skills
Nice to Have
- Experience in a multi-location or multi-state organization
- Experience in the legal industry
- Customer service experience
- Familiarity with accounting, billing, and financial systems such as QuickBooks, TimeSolv, LawPay, and Salesforce
