As a Senior Software Engineer focused on the Windows Sensor, you'll drive the design and implementation of cutting-edge endpoint security solutions operating at the kernel level. You will take ownership of features from concept through deployment, ensuring robust performance and deep integration with core Windows subsystems including file systems, networking, memory management, and process control.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate with distributed engineering teams to define architecture and strategy for kernel-mode components
- Design and implement high-performance, low-level software for threat detection and response on Windows platforms
- Diagnose and resolve complex system-level issues such as memory corruption, race conditions, and performance bottlenecks
- Guide cross-platform development efforts, ensuring consistency and efficiency across Windows, macOS, and Linux
- Participate in agile development cycles, including feature demonstrations and iterative refinement
What We're Looking For
- Extensive experience in C++ and deep understanding of Windows OS kernel internals
- Proven ability to debug and optimize low-level system software
- Strong collaboration skills with a track record of delivering complex features in team environments
- Leadership experience mentoring engineers and influencing technical direction
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of Windows Filtering Platform (WFP), TCP/IP stack, USB subsystems, or file system drivers
- Background in cybersecurity principles and threat detection mechanisms
- Experience building lightweight, scalable system software
- Familiarity with Git and agile development workflows
