We are seeking a skilled Senior Software Engineer to help shape software that supports care for individuals with autism and intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). This role focuses on full-stack development within a flexible, distributed environment, contributing to systems used in applied behavior analysis, therapy coordination, and special education.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply expertise in object-oriented programming, particularly with C#, JavaScript, or TypeScript, to design and maintain robust applications
- Develop and optimize backend services, APIs, and database architectures using modern server and data technologies
- Build responsive, accessible front-end interfaces using React, CSS, and related web technologies
- Work across relational and non-relational data systems, including SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, and CosmosDB
- Write efficient, maintainable SQL queries and contribute to scalable data models
- Collaborate independently while managing technical tasks and priorities with minimal oversight
Qualifications
Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, along with 5–10 years in full-stack development. You must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of delivering high-quality work under tight timelines. Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt quickly in a changing technical landscape are essential. Experience working in distributed teams and leading technical efforts autonomously is expected.
Technology Environment
The development stack includes JavaScript, TypeScript, React, C#, SQL Server, Azure, NHibernate, MySQL, Oracle, CosmosDB, and traditional RDBMS platforms. Familiarity across these tools is important for success in this role.
Work Model
This position supports a hybrid model, with office locations in Holmdel, New Jersey, and Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Remote candidates from other U.S. states may be considered, provided they can attend in-person meetings or interviews before starting.
