Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy scalable backend services using AWS Lambda, ECS, and AWS Copilot for orchestration and management.
• Design and implement data pipelines and analytics platforms with Databricks, Unity Catalog, and Apache Spark to handle extensive energy-related datasets.
• Create robust data storage architectures using S3 for data lakes, DynamoDB for high-speed NoSQL operations, and RDS or MongoDB Atlas for relational and document-based needs.
• Manage end-to-end solution lifecycles, from initial design through deployment and ongoing production support, including monitoring and incident response.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve live system issues by performing root cause analysis and applying corrective actions.
• Use observability tools like Elastic and AWS CloudWatch to track system and pipeline performance, configure alerts, and ensure high availability.
• Build and update operational documentation, alerting protocols, and service-level agreements for owned systems.
• Collaborate with product, data engineering, and platform teams to deliver cohesive and integrated technical solutions.
• Define and promote best practices in development, testing, and deployment while recommending improvements in processes and tooling.
• Engage in design and code reviews and contribute to architectural discussions to uphold strong engineering standards.
• Support team growth through documentation, pair programming, and knowledge transfer sessions.
