Role Overview
Take ownership of the test automation strategy by designing and maintaining robust, scalable frameworks using Playwright. You'll be responsible for developing and running automated tests across multiple browsers, ensuring software quality through continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and lead the long-term vision for test automation
- Design and implement reusable, maintainable Playwright frameworks
- Write, execute, and maintain cross-browser end-to-end tests
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD systems such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps
- Conduct code reviews to uphold quality and best practices
- Support and mentor junior team members in test automation techniques
- Analyze and resolve test failures, improving stability and reliability
- Continuously refine and expand test coverage across applications
Required Skills
- Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python
- Hands-on experience with API testing tools and methodologies
- Familiarity with Git for version control
- Experience generating and interpreting test reports
- Background working in Agile development environments
Preferred Experience
- Exposure to Selenium or Cypress testing tools
- Working knowledge of Docker for test environment management
- Experience with Cucumber for behavior-driven development
- ISTQB certification or equivalent practical knowledge
