About the Role
The engineer will work with cross-functional teams to build reliable systems, conduct investigations on safety-critical components, and refine processes through direct engagement with hardware and flight operations.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with design, production, testing, and flight operations teams to deliver dependable systems, maintain regulatory compliance, and advance organizational quality practices.
- Engage with engineering and production teams throughout product development to verify hardware reliability, define performance parameters, assess prototypes, and document test outcomes and improvements.
- Establish and maintain a quality management system that aligns with internal procedures, regulatory standards, and certification requirements.
- Lead investigations into deviations occurring in production, supply chain, testing, or flight operations, identifying both immediate and systemic causes to reduce risk and enhance design robustness.
- Support product development and validation using data-driven methods and continuous improvement strategies.
- Design, execute, and verify inspection and testing protocols for current and new products to ensure consistent adherence to quality benchmarks.
- Define, automate, and communicate quality performance indicators across the organization, offering actionable insights for design and process optimization.
