Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project execution, from initial planning to final closeout, ensuring consistency with organizational objectives.
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success metrics in coordination with key stakeholders.
- Manage multidisciplinary teams comprising engineering, procurement, safety, operations, and contracted personnel.
- Develop and oversee project budgets ranging from $250,000 to $5 million, including forecasting and cost monitoring.
- Optimize resource allocation to meet project timelines and performance targets.
- Assess project risks and implement effective risk mitigation plans.
- Ensure adherence to safety, health, and environmental regulations throughout all project phases.
- Serve as the main point of contact between project teams, site leadership, and outside parties.
- Deliver regular progress reports to executive management covering status, issues, and financials.
- Provide technical leadership on process design, equipment specification, and construction activities.
- Evaluate engineering designs for compliance with industry codes and internal policies.
- Promote the adoption of efficient practices and innovative solutions to improve facility performance and lower expenses.
- Work with Procurement to secure necessary equipment, engineering, and construction services.
- Create commissioning plans using the standardized corporate engineering template.
- Engage and supervise external contractors and consultants as required.
- Oversee project delivery including scope management, budget control, cash flow projections, scheduling, construction oversight, training, coordination, and post-project evaluations.
- Lead initiatives related to process safety and environmental compliance.
- Ensure all process safety management (PSM) requirements are fulfilled.
- Participate actively in site safety programs and related activities.
