About the Role
The ideal candidate will lead design initiatives from concept to execution, ensuring that user needs are met through thoughtful interface solutions and seamless interactions across platforms.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design processes for new features and product enhancements
- Conduct user research to inform design decisions and validate concepts
- Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups
- Collaborate closely with engineering and product teams throughout development cycles
- Maintain and evolve the design system for consistency across products
- Gather and incorporate feedback from stakeholders and users
- Identify opportunities to improve usability and accessibility
- Translate product requirements into intuitive user flows
- Present design work to cross-functional teams and leadership
- Ensure designs align with business goals and user needs
- Iterate on designs based on data and user testing results
- Advocate for the end user throughout the product lifecycle
- Support the creation of design guidelines and documentation
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies
- Contribute to recruiting and onboarding of design talent
Nice to Have
- Master’s degree in design or related discipline
- Experience working in fast-paced startup environments
- Track record of shipping consumer-facing digital products
- Familiarity with motion design and micro-interactions
- Experience mentoring junior designers
- Knowledge of behavioral psychology principles in design
- Background in wearable technology or fitness tracking apps
- Experience with internationalization and multilingual interfaces
- Exposure to design operations or design tooling
- Published case studies or speaking engagements in design
