This role is responsible for leading procurement strategies, conducting market analysis, negotiating contracts, and implementing sourcing solutions to optimize value and ensure compliance.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end sourcing projects for assigned categories
- Conduct market research and supplier benchmarking
- Develop and execute competitive bidding processes
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers to achieve favorable terms
- Analyze spending patterns to identify savings opportunities
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and regulations
- Manage supplier performance and relationships
- Prepare business cases and financial justifications for sourcing decisions
- Utilize data analytics to support strategic recommendations
- Drive standardization and consolidation of purchases
- Support contract lifecycle management
- Promote adoption of preferred suppliers and agreements
- Maintain accurate procurement documentation
- Stay current on industry trends and best practices
