Responsibilities
- Set up, oversee, and manage automated reconciliation processes using Simetrik, connecting data from bank statements, payment gateway APIs, and internal systems.
- Investigate, evaluate, and correct transaction mismatches and exceptions detected in the system to ensure data integrity and uninterrupted operations.
- Align financial records with actual cash inflows and outflows to maintain a reliable, auditable financial record for compliance reviews such as SOC and Basel.
- Verify that acquiring banks and payment processors apply fees correctly to identify potential revenue loss and safeguard financial performance.
- Produce dashboards and reports that track cash movements segmented by payment method and currency.
- Work closely with Finance, Payments, Risk, and third-party providers to ensure seamless end-to-end payment processing.
- Find and implement ways to automate workflows, standardize procedures, and enhance efficiency in payment operations.
