Responsibilities
- Operates with general oversight while managing technical design tasks.
- Delivers training and technical assistance to design teams on the Building Information Modeling (BIM) system, which creates 3D models based on project specifications and content.
- Leads project-specific design efforts and produces required drawings using established standards and components such as doors, lights, and other in-drawing elements.
- Offers continuous technical support for all BIM software applications and collaborates closely with design personnel.
- Works with the Technology Manager to advance from conventional BIM methods toward a more integrated design approach.
- Trains office leadership and operational staff on BIM tool usage and supports project teams at initiation to align expectations for deliverables and digital project planning.
- Produces BIM documentation for construction and bidding and participates in mechanical coordination stages when Revit models are needed for clash detection.
- Coaches local Revit leads, develops project-based implementation plans, and partners with teams to ensure BIM effectiveness through standardized workflows and best practices.
- Upholds BIM standards and design templates to maintain high-quality, consistent design outputs across global offices.
