Responsibilities
- Collaborate with finance stakeholders and leadership to gather and document business needs, workflows, use cases, data models, test scenarios, and justifications for Microsoft Business Central and related financial systems.
- Evaluate functional specifications, user stories, and design documents to confirm they meet business objectives and operational requirements.
- Supply functional expertise and oversight across concurrent initiatives, assessing process consistency and adherence to industry best practices.
- Lead mid-sized finance-related technology projects from start to finish, including planning, execution, deployment, risk tracking, communication, and post-launch support.
- Take ownership for delivering accurate, on-budget, and timely system solutions.
- Act as the primary liaison and escalation point for project teams, fostering productive teamwork and issue resolution.
- Monitor system updates, new features, and emerging methodologies to suggest system improvements and optimizations.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of business processes and system procedures.
- Train, onboard, and mentor junior analysts and subject matter experts to strengthen team capability.
- Lead retrospective sessions focused on enhancing team performance, workflow efficiency, and organizational culture.
- Design and implement standardized technical solutions to resolve business challenges and increase financial and operational effectiveness.
- Support ERP system upgrades and incident resolution in non-finance departments when necessary.
- Ensure all required quality assurance records and documentation are properly generated and maintained.
