About the Role
This role involves delivering functional expertise in Workday's Absence and Time Tracking solutions to support client projects and system improvements as part of the Success Plans team.
Responsibilities
- Configure and tailor Workday Absence and Time Tracking modules based on client requirements
- Collaborate with clients to understand business processes and translate them into system solutions
- Support implementation projects from initiation through go-live and post-production
- Provide subject matter expertise during testing and validation phases
- Develop functional documentation including system setups and process workflows
- Assist in resolving complex configuration issues in Absence and Time Tracking
- Guide clients on best practices for using Workday time and absence functionality
- Partner with technical teams to ensure integrations function correctly
- Lead client training sessions and knowledge transfer activities
- Review client configurations for compliance with recommended practices
- Support data conversion and validation efforts for time and absence records
- Participate in upgrade assessments and regression testing
- Advise on reporting needs related to time and absence data
- Troubleshoot post-go-live issues and recommend corrective actions
- Work with stakeholders to prioritize enhancement requests
- Ensure solutions align with client’s organizational policies and regulations
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Workday product changes in HCM
- Deliver configuration recommendations based on industry standards
- Coordinate with project managers to meet delivery timelines
- Act as a trusted advisor throughout the client lifecycle
Nice to Have
- Workday certification in HCM or specific time and absence modules
- Experience with Workday Success Plans or customer success roles
- Background in human resources or payroll operations
- Prior consulting experience with large enterprise clients
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance for leave management
