Responsibilities
- Define system-level requirements for automated flight and flight control systems
- Collaborate with pilots and operations personnel to create flight test strategies, resolve issues, and share design changes
- Create and evaluate flight control laws from early concept through final implementation and certification phases
- Build simulation models to assess stability and performance of flight control systems
- Code control algorithms and laws into flight software
- Validate flight software using simulation environments, Monte Carlo analysis, hardware-in-the-loop setups, and actual flight tests

Hybrid — positions based in Mountain View, CA, Seattle, WA, or remote with partial on-site requirements
