Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of worldwide transfer pricing frameworks, aligned with OECD standards and regional regulations across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC
- Advance cross-border tax planning strategies involving intellectual property positioning, international financing structures, and efficient capital repatriation
- Identify and execute initiatives to lower cash tax obligations and reduce the consolidated effective tax rate through analysis of M&A activity, entity restructurings, earnings and profits, tax basis, credits, and incentives
- Oversee preparation of global transfer pricing documentation packages, including Master and Local Files, and manage responses during international tax disputes
- Provide guidance on complex U.S. international tax computations such as NCTI, FDII, BEAT, and foreign tax credit utilization and limitations
- Evaluate and formalize technical accounting positions for Subpart F, Sections 987/988, PTEP, and tax basis tracking
- Support review and submission of Forms 5471, 8858, 8865, 8990, 8991, 8992, 8993, and 1118
- Supervise tax compliance and planning efforts conducted by Big 4 firms and internal teams
- Ensure end-to-end compliance management for over 100 non-U.S. entities with strict adherence to statutory filing deadlines and accuracy standards
- Drive continuous improvement in tax processes by integrating standardized workflows into tax technology platforms and HFM, enabling seamless data flow to and from the OneSource suite (e.g., OTP, OIT, GAM, UTP, OSA, OS Data Query)
- Support review of non-U.S. quarterly ASC 740 tax provisions under US GAAP, ensuring alignment between local financial reporting and the global consolidated tax provision
- Collaborate with senior tax leadership to present international tax risks and planning opportunities to executive management, including the CFO and Board
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with international finance teams, foreign controllers, and external advisors across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC
- Lead a geographically diverse team, emphasizing skill development and technical proficiency
- Direct tax due diligence and structuring for upcoming M&A transactions and manage international tax audits
- Support Sarbanes-Oxley compliance by maintaining documented internal controls, work plans, and procedures subject to quarterly review by internal and external auditors
