Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth research on public cloud service providers and sourcing models
- Publish timely reports, market analyses, and evaluation frameworks
- Advise enterprise clients on cloud procurement strategies and vendor selection
- Deliver presentations and facilitate advisory sessions with client stakeholders
- Identify emerging trends in cloud infrastructure and platform services
- Collaborate with peer analysts across technology domains
- Contribute to the development of sourcing tools and decision methodologies
- Engage with cloud vendors to assess offerings and market positioning
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of pricing models, licensing, and contract terms
- Support conference events with content and expert participation
- Respond to client inquiries with tailored guidance and benchmarks
- Track and analyze market share and competitive dynamics
- Develop use cases and adoption patterns for hybrid and multi-cloud environments
- Evaluate the impact of new technologies on cloud sourcing decisions
- Ensure research integrity and data accuracy across all deliverables
- Meet publication deadlines and maintain a consistent research calendar
- Represent the firm’s insights in external media and speaking engagements
- Identify opportunities for research expansion in cloud procurement
- Work with editorial and research support teams to refine content
- Maintain neutrality and objectivity in vendor assessments
