Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including specialized data scientists, on initiatives such as research and development and process automation to meet current business demands
- Convert requirements from clients and product teams into feasible data-driven solutions or product features
- Generate and refine innovative solutions for new product development pipelines
- Frame business challenges as structured scientific inquiries
- Investigate potential solutions, analyze internal data sources, design and run experiments, build prototypes, and assist engineering teams in scaling them
- Develop statistical and machine learning models as proof-of-concept prototypes to address specific client objectives
- Evaluate and enhance model performance using large-scale datasets, adjusting parameters and iterating for improvement
- Record methodologies, experimental results, and conclusions, and produce technical specifications for engineering implementation
- Write, review, update, and share clear, efficient, and well-documented code used in prototyping and model development
