About the Role
This role begins with building and maintaining the core data platform but offers growth into modeling, analytics, or product-facing data systems. The ideal candidate is self-driven, technically strong, and eager to shape how data fuels product and business outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain data ingestion and transformation workflows for labor market, customer, and product data, ensuring timely and scalable delivery to both warehouse and product systems
- Define and govern the structure, quality, testing, and documentation of core data assets, including taxonomies for skills, occupations, and career pathways
- Establish trust in data across the organization by ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and clarity without requiring constant validation
- Create and manage transformation logic and datasets that support internal business intelligence, reporting in Looker or Quicksight, and customer-facing insights
- Maintain and enhance data pipelines that supply matching and recommendation models with clean, reliable inputs
- Collaborate with engineering and data science teams to deploy, monitor, and refine machine learning models in production environments

Where This Role Can Go
This role starts with the platform, but it doesn't end there. The person who builds our data foundation is the person best positioned to shape what we build on top of it — whether that's moving deeper into modeling and the matching systems your pipelines feed, or into the analytical work that turns our data into insight for customers. We'd rather hire someone with a clear direction they want to grow in than someone who wants to stay in one lane, and we'll build the path with you.
