Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and refine modular dbt pipelines and high-performance data schemas, establishing best practices in version control, testing, and development speed.
- Serve as a technical liaison across analytics, operations, and data engineering teams to convert unclear product needs into reliable, scalable data solutions.
- Identify and resolve performance issues to reduce query response times and decrease data warehouse computing costs, supporting the transition to Snowflake.
- Improve team engineering standards through thorough code reviews, refactoring outdated systems, and maintaining strong data security protocols.
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and debugging, streamline development workflows, and integrate AI-powered tools for test creation and legacy code analysis.
