Join a growing team dedicated to pediatric communication development as a part-time Speech Language Pathology Assistant. You'll deliver teletherapy services to children aged 18 months and up, working directly on goals for receptive and expressive language, fluency, voice, and motor speech disorders such as apraxia.
What You'll Do
- Deliver structured therapy sessions remotely using a secure, integrated teletherapy platform
- Follow individualized treatment plans under the guidance of licensed clinicians
- Support progress in articulation, language development, social communication, and fluency
- Maintain accurate daily records, including progress notes and session summaries
- Engage caregivers in coaching and skill-building to reinforce therapy goals at home
- Coordinate with families, educators, and other professionals to support holistic development
What We Require
- Graduation from an ASHA-aligned SLPA program
- Active California SLPA license
- At least one year of hands-on experience in speech-language support
- Experience working with pediatric clients in clinic, home health, outpatient, or virtual settings
- Proficiency in writing SOAP documentation
- Comfort using digital tools for session delivery and recordkeeping
- Ability to build rapport with young clients and their families
Preferred Experience
- Work with fluency disorders or behavioral strategies
- Experience supporting adult clients or using augmentative and alternative communication (AAC)
- Fluency in Spanish for bilingual therapy delivery
