This internship position provides hands-on experience in network operations and administrative support within a professional setting. Based in either Alor Setar or Johor Bahru, the intern will assist with monitoring system performance, identifying alerts, and reporting technical issues under guidance. Daily responsibilities include logging incidents, updating service records, and supporting first-level diagnostics for networks and hardware.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor server, network, and system performance using designated tools
- Report outages and performance anomalies promptly
- Assist with initial troubleshooting steps under supervision
- Maintain accurate records of incidents and service tickets
- Perform routine system and hardware checks
- Support maintenance tasks including inventory tracking, backup logs, and patching schedules
- Carry out administrative duties such as data entry, filing, and document preparation
- Coordinate with external vendors and service providers as needed
- Support facility operations including maintenance follow-ups and office logistics
- Prepare reports, meeting summaries, and internal communications
- Assist in procurement processes like gathering quotes and preparing comparison sheets
- Keep inventory logs updated for office supplies, IT equipment, and assets
