Owlet Baby Care, Inc. is hiring a Sourcing Analyst

This role is central to shaping and sustaining a resilient supply chain for innovative baby care technology. As a Sourcing Analyst, you will manage end-to-end supplier engagement, from onboarding to performance tracking, ensuring alignment with product development timelines and cost goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead vendor onboarding by coordinating legal agreements such as NDAs, Quality Agreements, and MSAs, ensuring full documentation compliance.
  • Organize and maintain supplier records to meet internal procurement standards and audit readiness.
  • Monitor supplier performance using data-driven metrics and prepare summaries for business reviews.
  • Facilitate communication between internal teams and suppliers to resolve operational issues and support continuous improvement.
  • Drive RFQ processes to identify qualified suppliers for new product components, balancing cost, quality, and delivery timelines.
  • Manage purchase orders for new product builds, aligning quantities and delivery schedules with engineering milestones.
  • Collaborate with engineering and contract manufacturers to ensure component feasibility, supplier readiness, and cost efficiency.
  • Support pricing negotiations for both new and existing products to maintain financial competitiveness.
  • Regularly assess supplier quotes to verify pricing integrity and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Track inventory metrics including consignment stock, yield loss, and purchase price variance to inform cost control strategies.
  • Review MRP outputs weekly with contract manufacturers to anticipate supply risks and adjust planning proactively.
  • Work with suppliers to enhance demand forecasting, inventory planning, and material availability.
  • Address material shortages quickly by coordinating with suppliers and cross-functional teams to sustain production flow.

Qualifications

Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field, with demonstrated experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain operations—ideally in manufacturing, medical devices, or consumer electronics. Strong analytical abilities, clear communication skills, and experience with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace are essential. You must be detail-focused, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment. Familiarity with AI tools to support data analysis and workflow efficiency is expected.

Preferred candidates will have experience sourcing internationally, proficiency in additional languages, knowledge of sustainable procurement practices, or relevant certifications such as CPM, CPSM, or CIPS.
