Ramp is hiring a Solutions Consultant, Enterprise

Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalized product demonstrations to enterprise prospects by creating tailored environments and narratives that address specific business challenges
  • Design and structure custom enterprise solutions for Fortune 500 and government clients, aligning technology capabilities with strategic goals
  • Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Partner teams to advocate for integration features based on customer requirements
  • Partner with Account Executives to highlight technical accounting functionalities through customized demos and workflow visualizations
  • Create customized product configurations using in-depth knowledge of integration and setup options to meet client needs
  • Assist Sales and Post-Sales teams with complex technical and accounting implementations
  • Assess customer requirements for new opportunities by completing RFPs, leading technical discovery sessions, and performing use-case and ROI evaluations
  • Work with Product, Product Marketing, and Product Operations to build and maintain technical documentation and internal knowledge resources

Requirements

  • 8+ years in Solutions Consulting, Sales Engineering, or Solutions Architecture roles with focus on Financial consultancy, Value Engineering, SaaS implementation, API-driven solutions, and customer engagement, ideally in fintech
  • Strong understanding of enterprise accounting systems and financial operations, including controllership priorities and finance workflows
  • Extensive hands-on experience with API integrations, SFTP setups, and developing custom technical solutions for complex customer environments
  • Proven ability to present to executive stakeholders, translating technical details into strategic business value, both remotely and in person
  • Skilled in managing complex, multi-party sales cycles and cross-functional collaboration to drive consensus and successful outcomes
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, business, finance, accounting, or a related field
  • Familiarity with core enterprise systems such as identity providers, HRIS, and ERP platforms and their role in financial and operational workflows
  • In-depth expertise in accounting systems, controllership requirements, and finance/accounting processes
  • Excellent organizational and project management abilities with strong prioritization skills in fast-paced, high-growth settings
  • Proactive attitude, adaptability, and comfort operating in dynamic startup environments

Nice to Have

  • Experience or familiarity with selling to government organizations
  • Knowledge of at least one programming language such as Python, Java, or SQL
  • Background in data integration platforms and ETL processes
  • Understanding of cloud infrastructure platforms including AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Familiarity with enterprise authentication systems and security protocols

Compensation

For NYC or SF candidates: $197,000 - $270,000; for all other locations: $177,000 - $243,000
