About the Role

Role Overview

Lead the design and implementation of enterprise-grade application architectures that support large-scale, multi-location operations. As a Senior Solutions Architect, you will shape long-term technical strategy while guiding short-term execution across integrated systems. Your expertise will ensure solutions meet rigorous demands for security, scalability, performance, and compliance across diverse operational environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and drive the architectural vision for complex software systems, aligning with enterprise and data architecture standards
  • Collaborate with Agile delivery teams, DevOps engineers, and product stakeholders to guide technical direction and resolve design challenges
  • Develop and document strategic roadmaps for technology investment, including cost optimization and modernization initiatives
  • Research emerging technologies and recommend solutions that enhance system flexibility, efficiency, and resilience
  • Create and maintain comprehensive architecture documentation, including data flows, integration patterns, and system models
  • Lead the development of standardized methodologies and maintain a central repository for architectural deliverables
  • Model business and technical processes using use cases, sequence diagrams, and data models to inform system design
  • Review architectural proposals from peers to ensure compliance with standards, security practices, and operational procedures
  • Partner with project managers, vendors, and IT teams to define implementation plans, integration approaches, and customization strategies
  • Act as a technical authority during solution reviews and contribute to cross-functional governance forums
  • Support environmental, health, and safety initiatives by adhering to organizational policies and team engagement practices

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field
  • Minimum of 9 years of experience in IT, with a focus on large-scale, integrated system projects
  • Proven track record in designing strategic systems architecture and delivering end-to-end solutions
  • Expertise in modeling techniques including UML, data flow diagrams, sequence diagrams, component and deployment models
  • Strong background in software development with hands-on coding ability, API and SDK integration
  • Deep understanding of networking infrastructure, including firewalls, routers, BGP, caching, and storage systems
  • Extensive experience with web servers, reverse proxies, API gateways, service buses, and integration patterns
  • Proficiency in RESTful services, microservices, service-oriented architectures, and event-driven design
  • Working knowledge of both SQL and NoSQL databases, along with in-memory data stores
  • Demonstrated experience in designing secure, scalable solution architectures and integration frameworks

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience leading global enterprise engineering initiatives or technical teams
  • Familiarity with technologies including REST, Node.js, .NET, native mobile platforms, and eventing patterns
  • Self-directed with strong organizational skills and a history of delivering results in dynamic environments
  • Proficiency in Japanese is a plus

Technical Environment

The role operates within a diverse technology ecosystem including cloud platforms, REST APIs, microservices, distributed data stores, and modern integration frameworks. Modeling tools and architectural documentation standards are used consistently to ensure clarity and maintainability across the solution landscape.

Work Mode

This is an onsite position located at the Universal Orlando Resort campus. The role requires regular on-site presence to support collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
