Responsibilities
- Lead full lifecycle architecture design and governance for .NET systems with focus on scalability, performance, security, and compliance with enterprise standards.
- Design cloud-native and hybrid solutions on Microsoft Azure platforms.
- Implement Azure-based architectures using services such as App Services, Functions, AKS, Service Bus, Event Grid, API Management, and data platforms.
- Ensure deployed systems are highly available, resilient, and optimized for cost.
- Lead modernization efforts including legacy system refactoring, cloud migration, and adoption of containerized and serverless architectures.
- Analyze functional and platform requirements, integrating architectural considerations, engineering best practices, testing approaches, data models, security measures, and cloud efficiency.
- Build and maintain enterprise-grade applications, APIs, and integration layers that function consistently across platforms, devices, and channels with strong interoperability.
- Define and manage CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, environment consistency, and release controls using Azure DevOps or similar tools.
- Conduct design and code reviews and participate in technical governance to ensure compliance with standards and long-term system health.
- Establish and enforce source control strategies, including branching, check-in policies, and traceability across geographically distributed teams.
- Guide engineers and technical leads in architectural discipline, design quality, and engineering excellence.
- Assign and supervise architectural work while retaining accountability for system integrity and deliverable quality.
- Support incident management through on-call duties, root cause analysis, and planning for systemic fixes.
- Advance DevOps culture by unifying development and operations, promoting automation, continuous delivery, and shared responsibility for production environments.
