Role Overview
This position begins with a focus on the Optix Migration project before shifting into a Business as Usual (BAU) role within the HRP function. The Solution Architect will play a key part in shaping technical and business outcomes by aligning solution design with strategic goals. You will work closely with sales, project management, and IT stakeholders to guide projects from concept through to delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the initial phase of the Optix Migration, then transition into sustained HRP solution support
- Conduct thorough analysis, facilitate workshops, and produce clear documentation
- Define and capture business requirements with precision
- Design, specify, and validate technical solutions that meet operational needs
- Support sales teams and Horizon clients during project scoping, planning, and definition
- Collaborate with Project Managers to estimate effort, resources, and timelines
- Engage with internal IT and external vendors to assess, challenge, and refine proposed designs
- Ensure developed solutions meet quality standards and intended purpose
- Oversee testing processes and formally accept deliverables
- Provide expert consultation internally and to client-facing teams
- Lead delivery teams and contribute to staff mentoring and professional growth
- Partner with local offices to identify risks, implement mitigations, and align training initiatives
- Monitor project progress and escalate issues when necessary

You will maintain clear communication across functions, ensuring technical designs are sound, risks are managed proactively, and stakeholders remain informed. This role requires a balance of strategic thinking, hands-on design work, and leadership in complex environments.
