Role Overview
As a Solution Architect, you will lead the design and implementation of comprehensive technology solutions that support enterprise-wide systems. Your work will ensure alignment with performance, security, scalability, and maintainability standards while guiding agile teams and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders in Product, Data, DevOps, and Security.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and supervise end-to-end integrated systems, providing technical leadership throughout the development lifecycle
- Serve as a technical authority for development teams, offering guidance on architecture and implementation
- Document and manage current architecture landscapes and technology portfolios
- Propose enhancements or alternatives to existing system designs to improve efficiency and adaptability
- Evaluate new and ongoing projects for compliance with architectural standards and procurement strategies
- Coordinate with internal and external technical resources to align implementation efforts
- Partner with Project Managers, vendors, and IT leaders to define estimates and execution plans for system integration
- Model business and technical workflows using use cases, sequence diagrams, APIs, and data models
- Shape long-term technology strategies and short-term implementation roadmaps
- Ensure solution designs are consistent with enterprise and data architecture principles
- Provide architectural direction to software teams and fellow architects
- Develop investment plans for architectural initiatives, including cost optimization analysis
- Research emerging technologies to enhance system flexibility and cost efficiency
- Assess technical feasibility for new initiatives and lead the creation of standardized methodologies
- Maintain a centralized repository for architectural deliverables and practices
- Collaborate with technical and business teams to refine requirements and resolve design challenges
- Participate in solution review forums with peers and domain experts
- Support Environmental, Health & Safety initiatives by adhering to organizational policies and training
- Perform additional duties as needed
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 10 years of IT experience with large-scale, integrated systems
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Experience creating business requirements, functional specifications, data flows, and UML models
- Background in software development, including working knowledge of APIs, SDKs, and coding principles
- High-level understanding of network infrastructure, including firewalls, routers, servers, and storage systems
- Proven track record in strategic architecture planning and system design
- Familiarity with information processing, enterprise applications, and software evaluation practices
- Project planning and management experience
- Knowledge of data privacy regulations and compliance standards
- Experience in solution and integration architecture
- Commitment to continuous improvement and change leadership
- Proficiency in UML and visual modeling techniques
- Deep understanding of SDLC, CI/CD, and agile methodologies
- Strong documentation and communication skills in technical architecture
- Hands-on experience with reverse proxies, web servers, service buses, REST APIs, microservices, and security practices
- Expertise in SQL, NoSQL, in-memory data stores, and database technologies
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience leading enterprise-level engineering initiatives or global teams
- Familiarity with REST, Node.js, .NET, mobile platforms, event-driven architectures, and microservices
- Leadership or participation in business process transformation projects
- Direct involvement in gathering and analyzing business requirements

Work Environment
