About the Role
The technician will deliver on-site and remote support for solids control equipment, ensuring optimal performance and reliability through preventive maintenance, system setup, and operational training for client personnel.
Responsibilities
- Provide remote and on-site technical support for solids control systems
- Conduct equipment installations and commissioning at client locations
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections of separation machinery
- Troubleshoot mechanical and operational issues promptly
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols during field operations
- Maintain accurate service records and reports
- Assist in equipment configuration prior to deployment
- Train client staff on proper system operation and safety procedures
- Respond to emergency service calls as required
- Collaborate with engineering team on equipment improvements
- Monitor system performance and recommend adjustments
- Handle spare parts logistics and inventory tracking
- Support project planning for new deployments
- Communicate technical details clearly to non-technical stakeholders
- Adhere to environmental and regulatory standards
- Work flexible hours to align with drilling schedules
- Use diagnostic tools to assess equipment health
- Escalate complex issues to senior technical staff
- Ensure all tools and test equipment are calibrated and ready
- Follow company quality assurance procedures
- Assist in pre-job safety meetings
- Document field findings and resolution steps
- Maintain readiness for rapid deployment
- Support health, safety, and environment (HSE) initiatives
- Coordinate with logistics team for equipment transport
