Responsibilities
- Develop test strategies for Layer 0 and Layer 1 based optical transport technologies including Long Haul, DCI, and Metro systems.
- Execute protocol-driven test cases for features such as FCAPS, NBI automation, and security across L0 and L1 layers.
- Contribute to the full system development lifecycle by analyzing requirements and creating comprehensive test documentation.
- Engage in testing next-generation operating systems aligned with modern software architectures like microservices and containers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize test scenarios based on customer requirements and accelerate feature delivery.
- Design and implement automated test solutions using standard programming platforms to improve system robustness.
- Take ownership of product qualification activities from planning through execution and reporting.

Responsibilities
- System Test Engineer to actively contribute to Test plan development of Layer 0 (DWDN), Layer 1 (OTN, Ethernet) based Long Haul, DCI & Metro optical systems
- Responsible of L0, L1 protocol-based feature Test executions (ex [not limited to]: FCAPS, NBI Automation, Security
- Active participation and Contribution of System Development Lifecycle processes, understand System requirement and develop detailed Test plan
- Active participation on next gen operating systems and qualify platform w.r.t standard software architectures like Microservices, Container, etc
- Close working with cross-functional team for effective prioritization of Test scenarios (based on customer needs) and enable feature velocity delivery
- Automation of Test scenarios using standard programming platform and enable multiple execution to harden system feature quality
- Self-driven professional, capable of owning, and delivering on product qualification
