Flourish Software is looking for a Software Implementation Engineer to serve as the technical bridge between our platform and our clients' success. You will lead software implementations for cannabis operators, from SMBs to multi-state enterprises, configuring workflows, training users, and maintaining compliance.
What You'll Do
- Lead end-to-end software implementations for cannabis operations of varying complexity.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects while meeting strict timelines and budget requirements.
- Serve as the primary technical liaison during the onboarding phase.
- Conduct needs assessments and develop tailored implementation strategies.
- Configure Flourish's platform to match cannabis supply chain workflows, including cultivation, manufacturing, inventory, and compliance reporting.
- Assist with data migration from legacy systems like spreadsheets or other platforms.
- Provide virtual and in-person training on platform features and operational best practices.
- Proactively identify implementation risks and guide clients through mitigation.
- Utilize project management tools to plan, track, and communicate milestones.
- Partner with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams.
- Collaborate with internal engineering teams to resolve technical issues and communicate feedback.
- Contribute to process documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base articles.
- Support the development of implementation best practices and methodologies.
What We're Looking For
- Experience working in a start-up environment.
- Project management experience in a technology environment.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong Excel, SQL, and data-oriented technical aptitude.
- Experience with process mapping and SOP development.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Comfort with technical training in both a live and remote setting.
- Familiarity with software development, tracking, project management, and communication tools.
Nice to Have
- At least two years of technical or operational experience in a cannabis production environment or a similar role.
- Direct METRC and/or BioTrack experience.
