Responsibilities
- Promote a culture of excellence, ongoing development, and personal responsibility within the engineering team
- Develop strong, trust-based relationships by providing consistent feedback and guiding professional growth
- Advocate for and advance the use of artificial intelligence to enhance developer efficiency across the team. Assess AI proficiency by experience level, define expectations, and create coaching strategies to improve capabilities
- Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of key initiatives by balancing speed and precision
- Collaborate with research and development leadership to refine workflows and increase operational effectiveness
- Hold regular one-on-one meetings and actively support individual career progression
- Manage recruitment and integration of new team members
- Track and enhance team engagement, satisfaction, and output
- Encourage creative problem-solving and collaboration across technical teams
Compensation
Tier 1 City: $155,000 - $190,000 CAD; Tier 2 City: $135,000 - $165,000 CAD

Leveling & Location
The organization applies a standardized system for role grading and adjusts compensation based on geographic location. Final level and pay are determined during interviews, considering experience, scope of work, and work location, and will fall within the applicable range.
