Responsibilities
- Oversee the complete software architecture for 3D printers and related post-processing systems, spanning embedded firmware, device control, and application or cloud layers.
- Lead the creation of dependable, real-time control software that manages precise motion, temperature regulation, and sensor coordination on Linux-based embedded platforms.
- Guide the development of customer-facing software such as desktop, web, and mobile interfaces for managing prints, controlling devices, and monitoring operations.
- Define and uphold best practices in software engineering, including code structure, automated testing, continuous integration and deployment, and comprehensive documentation.
- Work closely with hardware and product development teams to establish system requirements and ensure tight integration between hardware and software components.
- Recruit, guide, and manage a team of software engineers, promoting a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, and innovation.
- Oversee the entire software development lifecycle to deliver high-quality, stable releases on schedule.
