PerfectServe is hiring a Software Engineer - US Remote

Responsibilities

  • Improve and sustain web services and background processing components as part of an Agile development team
  • Work jointly on designing and building services within their domain
  • Take ownership of developing and maintaining multiple Python and C# API services that support customer-facing interfaces
  • Participate in planning, designing, coding, and delivering user stories on schedule with high quality using Agile methodologies
  • Collaborate with team members to resolve intricate technical challenges
  • Develop clean, maintainable code following established standards and industry best practices
  • Recognize, report, and help resolve technical debt and potential risks
  • Engage with Product Owners during release and iteration planning cycles
  • Design, build, and document solutions aligned with business needs in an Agile environment
  • Evaluate peer code for testability, long-term maintainability, and adherence to coding standards
  • Guide and support less experienced team members through mentorship
