Responsibilities
- Develop and sustain consumer-facing features in React Native mobile applications, supporting both iOS and future Android platforms.
- Create mobile components and subsystems designed for performance, long-term maintenance, and cross-platform scalability.
- Partner with product and design teams to define, build, and release features that meet user requirements and business goals.
- Advance mobile platform capabilities by enhancing development tools, testing methods, continuous integration and deployment pipelines, and performance tracking systems.
- Coordinate with backend engineering teams to shape APIs tailored for mobile use and refine client-server communication.
- Diagnose and fix performance bottlenecks and reliability problems in the mobile application experience.
- Engage in code reviews, architectural planning, and technical discussions to elevate overall engineering standards.
- Foster a culture of excellence in mobile development through mentorship, teamwork, and ongoing technical improvement.
Work Arrangement
Hybrid — Remote, with team locations in Columbus, Austin, Bay Area, and New York City

- Team operations are aligned with East and West coast time zones.
- As a digital-first organization, most work can be performed remotely. Most employees have the flexibility to work from anywhere in the U.S., though they are expected to engage in periodic in-person gatherings. These sessions typically occur once or twice per quarter for durations of 2 to 4 days, depending on the team and role.
