Wizards of the Coast (Skeleton Key studio) is hiring a Software Engineer Intern

Requirements

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a comparable technical discipline.
  • Proficient in C++ with a solid grasp of core computer science concepts such as data structures, algorithms, and systems design.
  • Hands-on experience with Unreal Engine gained through academic projects, internships, or independent work.
  • Demonstrated enthusiasm for creating refined and efficient interactive software experiences.
  • Strong analytical abilities and a proactive attitude toward learning within a team-based development setting.

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with Unreal Engine’s Gameplay Framework or engine-level systems.
  • Background in developing tools or improving development pipelines.
  • Knowledge of version control platforms like Perforce or Git.
  • Experience integrating AI-assisted coding tools such as Claude, Cursor, or similar into structured development workflows.

Compensation

$50.00 to $60.00 per hour. Actual pay may vary based on experience, skills, location, and market factors. Eligibility for additional incentives may apply.
