Responsibilities
- Architect, build, test, release, sustain, and optimize backend systems that are scalable, secure, and deliver high performance with minimal latency and operational cost.
- Serve as the technical authority on infrastructure during product development and when incorporating new technologies into current offerings.
- Work closely with engineering and research groups to align infrastructure components with product functionality, ensuring efficient performance and seamless user interaction.
- Create event-based system designs and implement APIs and microservices to enable real-time data processing and analytical capabilities.
- Maintain system stability, speed, and growth potential through robust monitoring, logging, and fault management practices.
- Keep current with advancements in technology, tools, and industry practices to continuously improve infrastructure effectiveness.
- Engage in peer code reviews, support open-source contributions, and guide less experienced team members.
