As a Software Engineer II, you will play a key role in shaping the next generation of network observability for a platform that bridges traditional enterprise infrastructure with cloud-native 5G environments. Your work will directly impact how service providers, enterprises, and AI-driven applications monitor, analyze, and optimize their network performance.
What You'll Do
- Design and implement scalable telemetry and analytics solutions within a Kubernetes-based architecture
- Define technical direction for product features, balancing innovation with architectural integrity
- Diagnose and resolve complex system-level issues across distributed microservices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine product scope and technical feasibility
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team-wide technical excellence
- Develop clear design specifications and functional documentation
- Support customer-facing technical initiatives and present solutions internally and externally
What We're Looking For
- Strong programming expertise in C, C++, or Go with a solid grasp of data structures, algorithms, and inter-process communication
- Deep understanding of networking protocols including IP, TCP, UDP, DNS, and HTTP
- Proven experience building and operating microservices in Kubernetes environments
- Familiarity with cloud networking, storage, and security models in public cloud platforms
- Strong analytical and debugging skills with a methodical approach to problem solving
Preferred Background
- Experience with AWS S3/EC2 or Google Cloud Storage/Compute Engine
- Working knowledge of container networking interfaces (CNI) and cloud routing
- Hands-on with Linux systems, node-level storage, and Kubernetes RBAC
- Proficiency in GitLab, GitHub, or similar version control systems
- Self-driven learning in emerging technologies with limited formal training
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially in technical documentation and collaboration

Compensation and Benefits
Base salary range: $124,800 – $187,200. Additional compensation includes incentive pay, bonuses, and restricted stock units.
