About the Role
The engineer will design, implement, and optimize backend systems that power large-scale data processing and e-commerce integrations, ensuring reliability and performance.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend services using PHP and Golang
- Write clean, testable, and efficient code
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define technical solutions
- Optimize applications for speed and scalability
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality
- Design and manage APIs for internal and external use
- Work with databases to ensure efficient data access and storage
- Implement monitoring and alerting for system health
- Contribute to architectural discussions and planning
- Ensure code is secure and follows best practices
- Support deployment and CI/CD processes
- Document technical designs and system behavior
- Stay current with evolving technology and methodologies
- Improve system reliability through proactive maintenance
- Collaborate on incident response and post-mortems
- Integrate third-party services and APIs
- Assist in refining engineering workflows
- Help maintain coding standards across the team
- Participate in sprint planning and team standups
- Contribute to performance testing and benchmarking
- Support data pipeline operations
- Work on system automation where applicable
- Ensure backward compatibility during updates
- Assist in onboarding new engineering team members
