About the Role
The engineer will contribute to building and improving core software platforms, focusing on performance, scalability, and maintainability while working within an agile team structure.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend services and APIs
- Write clean, testable, and well-documented code
- Collaborate with product managers to refine requirements
- Participate in code reviews and design discussions
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues
- Optimize application performance and reliability
- Implement automated testing and CI/CD pipelines
- Work with data engineers to support analytics workflows
- Ensure code aligns with security and compliance standards
- Support deployment and monitoring of services
- Contribute to architectural decisions and technical planning
- Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge
- Integrate third-party tools and services
- Refactor legacy systems for improved maintainability
- Use version control and branching strategies effectively
- Follow agile development methodologies
- Respond to feedback from clinical and operational teams
- Design solutions with scalability in mind
- Participate in incident response and on-call rotations
- Evaluate new technologies and frameworks
- Document technical designs and system behavior

- Maintain awareness of regulatory requirements
Nice to Have
- Master’s degree in computer science or related field
