Responsibilities
- Build and enhance software products and features that support core business operations
- Produce clean, efficient, and maintainable code primarily in Ruby on Rails, with some use of Python and TypeScript
- Demonstrate best practices to set high engineering standards across the team
- Lead pair programming efforts and guide team members through technical mentorship
- Advance complex design and architectural initiatives within the codebase
- Contribute to the creation and evolution of technical roadmaps
- Attend daily stand-up meetings and weekly retrospective sessions
- Work closely with cross-functional teams such as Product, Quality Assurance, Insurance, and Actuarial
- Serve as a technical resource and provide expert guidance on relevant topics
