Role Overview
Join a forward-thinking engineering team focused on advancing blockchain technology for digital assets and tokenized financial instruments. In this role, you'll lead the design and implementation of secure, scalable systems that align with regulatory standards and enterprise requirements. You'll operate within the Middle Office of Wealth Management Technology, driving innovation in tokenization and decentralized finance while ensuring robustness and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a distributed team of engineers specializing in blockchain, smart contracts, and full-stack development
- Define technical direction for blockchain infrastructure, digital asset platforms, and settlement systems
- Design and implement secure, high-performance solutions using public and private blockchain protocols
- Collaborate with product, compliance, and operations to translate business needs into technical specifications
- Evaluate and integrate blockchain frameworks such as Ethereum, Polygon, Hyperledger, and Canton
- Oversee CI/CD pipelines, release management, and production system reliability
- Enforce rigorous standards for code quality, testing, and cybersecurity practices
- Monitor regulatory developments and emerging technologies in the digital asset space
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- Minimum of 7 years in software engineering, with significant focus on blockchain systems
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in tokenization or decentralized finance
- Proven experience managing remote or distributed engineering teams
- Strong proficiency with cloud platforms including AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Deep understanding of blockchain architecture, consensus models, and cryptographic security
- Hands-on coding experience with Solidity, Rust, Go, or similar languages
- Familiarity with wallet systems, key management, and secure transaction signing
- Working knowledge of token standards such as ERC-20, ERC-721, and ERC-1400
- Track record of delivering large-scale, production-grade software systems
Preferred Background
- Experience in financial services or fintech, particularly in regulated environments
- Understanding of Delivery versus Payment (DvP) and tokenized securities workflows
- Active involvement in Web3 development communities or protocols
Technology Environment
Work across a modern blockchain and cloud stack including Ethereum, Polygon, Hyperledger, Canton, Solidity, Rust, Go, and major cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure), supported by robust CI/CD and DevOps tooling.
