About the Role
The engineer will build and improve backend systems that identify, monitor, and mitigate risks related to money laundering and fraud in financial transactions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend services that support financial crime detection
- Design systems to process transaction data for compliance monitoring
- Collaborate with security and compliance teams to implement regulatory requirements
- Optimize system performance for real-time fraud detection
- Write clean, testable, and maintainable code
- Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues promptly
- Integrate with internal and external data sources for risk analysis
- Ensure data integrity and consistency across services
- Support audit trails and reporting for regulatory purposes
- Implement scalable solutions to handle growing transaction volumes
- Contribute to system architecture improvements
- Follow security best practices in all implementations
